PG RCMP searching for violent man wanted on multiple charges

PRINCE GEORGE- Update: RCMP say this person is no longer being sought by police.

Earlier: Police are asking the public’s help in locating Garnet Alexander Izony.

According to the Prince George RCMP, the 30-year-old is wanted for multiple weapons possession charges, failure to comply with probation, identity fraud and obstruction of a peace officer.

Izony is described as a 5’11 Indigenous male weighing in at 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
