Local family lawyer recognized for his important contribution to BC’s justice system
PRINCE GEORGE- Greg Petrisor is a Prince George lawyer that is now one of the 30 BC lawyers being honoured with Queen’s counsel designation for his contribution to the provincial justice system throughout his career.
Petrisor now works as a senior family lawyer in PG and has been working throughout Northern BC since 1992, specializing in areas of civil litigation. According to the province, he is considered to be a leader of the Northern legal community. After serving 8 years as a bencher for Cariboo County, he is a life bencher of the Law Society of BC. Additionally, Petrisor has a long history of volunteer work outside of his career.

Congratulations to each of these extraordinary lawyers and thank you for all you do for British Columbians and the legal profession,” said David Eby, Attorney General. “Throughout your careers, you have shown good character, professional integrity and continuing dedication to your communities. The honour of Queen’s counsel title is well deserved.”
The province received 153 nominations for an honorary QC title this year. Only 7% of practising lawyers in the province can be awarded the QC designation at any given time. 2021 recipients were chosen from many areas of legal practice, including family, labour, criminal and tax law. Lawyers in private practice, government and academia were selected for the title.
