Restrictions on worship services revised in Northern Health

PRINCE GEORGE- Northern Health has updated the public health orders to allow indoor worship services with COVID-19 safety requirements in place. Faith-based services will be allowed to resume in-person worship services limited to 50% of the place of the building’s capacity. All attendees over the age of 11 must be vaccinated.

The revision comes into effect tomorrow (Friday) at midnight, and will last until at least January 31. Northern Health will continue to evaluate the rates of COVID-19 activity during this time.

The revised order also removes proof of vaccination requirements for outdoor events, in line with provincial measures. Virtual and drive-in services can still be held without checking attendees vaccination status.
