Spruce Kings don’t complete sweep, but pick up point in finale against Bucks
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings were unable to sweep their three games in three nights against the Cranbrook Bucks, but they did pick up a point in the finale.
After wins of 3-0 and 4-3 on Thursday and Friday, the Spruce Kings were edged by the Bucks in overtime 4-3 on Saturday (Dec. 11). Tyson Dyck scored 22 seconds in to seal the win for Cranbrook.
The Spruce Kings are now 13-7-1 on the 2021-22 British Columbia Hockey League season, good for 27 points in 21 games and fourth in the Interior Division. They begin a two-game road trip Friday (Dec. 17) in Salmon Arm.
