Heavy snow expected in Prince George Friday and Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — Keep your shovels and snowblowers handy.

Environment Canada is forecasting heavy snow Friday night through Saturday with 10 to 20 centimetres of the white stuff expected.

The Williston, Stuart-Nechako, Prince George, McGregor, Cariboo, Yellowhead regions will all be affected.

“A strong Pacific frontal system will spread heavy snow to the above mentioned regions starting Friday night,” says Environment Canada.
