PG Ice Oval almost ready to go for the holidays

PRINCE GEORGE– Flooding has started at the oval!

That’s the latest message on The PG Ice Ovals Website and President Kathy Lewis echoed those words saying the outdoor rink is close to being open to the public with the goal being everyone skating and creating joyful memories before Christmas.

The biggest struggle right now is the snow falling preventing volunteers from flooding the ice in a smooth fashion. Those volunteers also scrape snow, operate the Zamboni, and do so much more to make the Oval possible.
