Cougars’ win streak ends at five after 3-1 loss to Giants

PRINCE GEORGE — A season-best five-game win streak came to an end for the Prince George Cougars on Saturday (Dec. 18).

Jaren Brinson’s goal long from the blueline opened the scoring, but the Cougars ultimately fell to the Vancouver Giants on the road 3-1.

The Cougars sit with a 13-15-0 record, good for 26 points in 28 games for the season and fourth in the Western Hockey League (WHL) B.C. Division.

The Cougars are off until Dec. 28 for the WHL holiday break. They’ll welcome the Everett Silvertips at CN Centre.
