Spruce Kings enter holiday break on mini losing streak

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings enter the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) holiday break having lost three straight games, two of them in regulation.

The Spruce Kings opened the scoring on Friday (Dec. 17) against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Saturday (Dec. 18) against the Vernon Vipers. Although PG would end up dropping both contests by scores of 4-3 and 2-1 respectively.

The Spruce Kings enter the holiday break fourth in the BCHL Interior Division with a 13-9-1 record, good for 27 points in 23 games. They’re scheduled to conclude 2021 with a two-game road trip against the Wenatchee Wild on Dec. 30 and 31.
