PRINCE GEORGE – Christmas is days away and the kids are out of school, so you may be wondering what you could do to pass the time.

If you have noticed some festive window pieces around town while you have been Christmas shopping you’re not alone. Mandy Paavola is the creator of those art pieces and she says she has been extremely busy over the last 30 days.

” Whenever you can do something that makes someone smile, whether it’s to say hello or paint a mural at a place that’s unexpected people love it” explains Mandy Paavola who is a local Prince George artist.

What began as something to create an income for Mandy when COVID hit, has grown into something a lot more meaningful.

” Last year when the pandemic hit, I was like [sic] alright I can’t really do makeup or face paint for parties and events. I am going to really like [sic] hit the pavement”

The time spent varies between clients and she covers more than just businesses many PG homes showcase her art as well.

Mandy says she appreciates all the love and support she has received and would like to continue this in the years to come.
