PRINCE GEORGE – Over the next few days, more winter weather is expected to roll in province-wide, including the Prince George area. If you plan to hit the highway for the holiday break, you must prepare for winter conditions.

In the last 24 hours, the Beaverly Fire Rescue has responded to several motor vehicle incidents on the highway.

According to Environment Canada, an intense storm will clash with cold Arctic air throughout the holidays. Periods of heavy and blowing snow and extremely cold weather are likely in many parts of B.C. between now and New Year’s Day. These weather events will make for poor road conditions.
