Many parcels still waiting for pick up: Canada Post

PRINCE GEORGE – Due to the treacherous winter conditions in the city recently, many parcels were not able to be delivered.

Canada Post and CUPW Local 812 President and Postal Clerk Rick Harris said many parcels are still being held at places like Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs and others.

If you were issued a mail slip, be sure to head over to the nearest Canada Post location which should be indicated on your slip to gather your gift before Christmas.

Some locations are still bursting at the seams with packages.

“As long as it’s been 24 hours from the date of the card, if people feel safe and comfortable, they can come down and pick up their parcels,” said Harris.
