Prince George and region under snowfall warning
PRINCE GEORGE —Old Man Winter is throwing all it’s got at Prince George and region.
This as Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for not only Prince George, but also Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Quesnel, McLeese Lake, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Clinton and Highway 97 – Clinton to 100 Mile House via Begbie Summit.
The snow is expected to start falling Wednesday afternoon and continue until Thursday morning. Ten to 15 centimetres is slated to fall.
“A low pressure centre over the coast will spread snow to the BC Central Interior tomorrow. Snow is expected to begin tomorrow afternoon and intensify in the evening. Heavy snow will taper off early Thursday morning,” says Environment Canada.
