“The cause is unknown. We’ve had some real issues with gear freezing and it’s been hard on manpower and equipment with these temperatures. It’s a deep seated fire in the walls and the floor joists.”

He says fire personnel are “ok” so far.

“It’s cold and we’re just trying to recycle through our people and keep warm.”

A damage estimate for the fire is not yet available.

As of 6 p.m. this evening, it was minus 25 degrees, and with the windchill, as low as minus 33.
