PRINCE GEORGE– With fires, floods, and extreme weather having a massive impact in BC over the past year, Fraserway RV held a tree chipping event to raise money for disaster relief over the weekend, while also helping people in Prince George dispose of their old Christmas trees.

The company teamed up with Bednesti Tree Services to put on their Christmas Tree Chip for Charity event where they invited the public to drop off their old live Christmas trees to dispose of via chipping and composting all while trying to raise money for Canadian Red Cross.

When the event was all said and done FraserWay RV told CKPG they raised over $500 and will look to host a similar event next year.
