RED ROCK — Update: Highway 97 cleared in both directions in Red Rock .

Update:Highway has reopened to single-lane alternating traffic.

Earlier: Highway 97 is closed in both directions in Red Rock.

North District RCMP say the closure was prompted by a tow truck sliding into a ditch at about 1:37 p.m. today. The truck was pulling another vehicle.
