Grants approved for 14 caribou habitat restoration projects.

PRINCE GEORGE – Provincial biologists, keep a close eye on caribou as the majority are at threat. This month the Governments of Canada and British Columbia recently infused millions of dollars into grants to restore caribou habitat.

With funding governments, the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation approved 14 grants for new and ongoing projects to help restore caribou habitat in British Columbia.

The grants totalled more than $1.65 million.
