Over 40% of eligible BC residents triple vaccinated

NORTHERN BC- 165 of the 2,033 new cases of COVID-19 in BC were located in Northern Health. This comes as the region now has 1,147 active cases, while there are 29,556 across BC.

13 more deaths have been reported across BC. The provincial death toll has reached 2,588, while 284,832 people who tested positive have recovered. Across BC, 977 COVID-positive individuals are in hospital and 141 are in intensive care.

90.0% of eligible residents 12+ have received their second vaccine dose and 43.0% have received a third. This comes as 46.0% of eligible BC adults have received a third dose.
