One more COVID-19 related death in Northern Health

NORTHERN BC- BC is reporting 2,137 new cases of COVID-19, including 170 in Northern Health. The north’s active case count has reached 1,170, while BC has 30,515.

In the past 24 hours, nine new deaths have been reported, for an overall total of 2,597. One of the deaths was in Northern Health.

89.8% (4,474,039) of eligible people five and older in BC have received their first dose of a vaccine and 83.8% (4,174,992) have received their second dose. In addition, 92.7% (4,295,487) of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose, while 90.0% (4,171,222) received their second dose and 43.9% (2,033,321) have received a third dose.
