PRINCE GEORGE — Saturday (Feb. 5) was a challenging stop for the Prince George Cougars on their six-game U.S. road trip.

It was the Cougars’ second stop in Everett on the road trip to take on the Western Hockey League (WHL) Western Conference leading Silvertips, and it didn’t fair better than their 6-1 loss last Saturday.

The Silvertips two goals in each period in their 6-0 shutout victory, leaving the Cougars with a 1-4-1 record on their visit to the United States.

The Cougars fall to 18-23-2-1 on the 2021-22 WHL season, good for 39 points in 44 games. They’re still third in the B.C. Division and sixth in the Western Conference.

Prince George returns home Friday (Feb. 11) to welcome the Vancouver Giants to CN Centre.
