PRINCE GEORGE — Police recovered stolen firearms from a home on the 1900 block of Strathcona Avenue earlier this week.
Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says the firearms were recovered on Monday (Feb.7) while investigating a separate matter.
“Frontline police discovered several insecurely stored firearms. Upon further investigation, police discovered two of the firearms were reported as stolen. Police also seized some prohibited firearms and a quantity of ammunition.”
She says the investigation is ongoing and reminds all gun owners to make sure their firearms are securely stored and locked.
