The UNBC Women’s T-Wolves take an early hit

PRINCE GEORGE- A third period charge by division leading UFV was too much for the host UNBC women’s Timberwolves to handle, falling 73-60 to the Cascades Wednesday night in Canada West basketball .

Alina Shakirova led the UNBC effort with 14 points in 23 minutes, to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Sveta Boykova had a double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Garmendia Garcia added 10 points and five rebounds.
