PRINCE GEORGE—Following Sunday’s rally, the people of Prince George aren’t slowing down with their support.

On Facebook, dozens of people have already begun to change their profile pictures to sunflowers and to the Ukrainian flag.

“It’s nice to see that humans are still kind.” said Bailey Grose.

On the streets, people are decorating their homes in blue and yellow. Painting sunflowers, hearts, and the country’s flag in support of those affected.

“I am a mother, and the pictures coming out of the are difficult to watch.” said Grose.

Others are bringing out their artistic side. One local artist has painted a sunflower–the country’s national flower–which has inspired people to change their profile picture to her artwork.

Another woman is creating bracelets. Pamela Flann says she’s offering the bracelets by donation, with 100% of the money going towards two charities on behalf of the city.
