PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are seeking your help in identifying a suspect in a break and enter of a local toy store.

RCMP say Great White Toys on the 700 block of Central Street West was broken into shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday (Feb.27) morning.

Police arrived within three minutes of the call to find a smashed window and the theft of numerous high-value items such as Pokemon and Magic the Gathering cards. A police service dog was deployed but was unable to locate the suspect.

“When I arrived I thought to myself what’s going on?” says owner Cameron Stolz.

Security footage shows the suspect hopping through the window. He then heads to the counter and starts putting items in a red plastic bag. He then heads to the glass case with hundreds of dollars of cards and starts ripping the door off. Once open the suspect grabs the cards and puts them in a black backpack. He then gathers all his bags with the stolen items and leaves through the front door.

RCMP are looking for a male suspect, possibly in his early to mid 30s. RCMP say he was wearing a grey hoodie and gloves and was carrying a red backpack at the time of the break-in.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (250)561-3300.
