PRINCE GEORGE — A great opportunity if you’re interested in enrolling in post-secondary education.

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is hosting open house events on March 4 in Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Mackenzie, Quesnel, and Vanderhoof and March 5 in Prince George.

CNC says open houses offer “an experiential educational experience where participants can engage in interactive course demonstrations, tour campuses, meet lecturers and faculty, explore programs, receive information on a wide-range of personal and academic student support services such as: academic advice, accessibility supports, financial aid, aboriginal supports, student housing, admissions and registration processes.”

CNC notes the open houses are timely considering the provincial government recently reported that 1,004,000 job openings will be created over the next decade with 80 per cent of those requiring some form of post-secondary education or trainining.

CNC’s Open House events from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 4 in Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Mackenzie, Quesnel, and Vanderhoof and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 5 in Prince George.

Get more information on CNC’s Open house and preregister on the event page. Those who pre-register will have their name entered to win a $500 credit toward their tuition. All who attend will also receive a waived application fee and will have a chance to win one of three $1,000 tuition vouchers.

You are encouraged to pre-register, however if you are unable to do so you are still welcomed to join in the events by stopping in anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at any of the designated campuses. Free parking is also available during the Open House.
