QUESNEL, B.C. — The Riverfront Trail will remain closed for at least the next two weeks.

The City of Quesnel stated on Tuesday (March 1) that crews will use heavy equipment to improve riverside embankment and remove snow and ice from the trail from Ceal Tingley Park to the Quesnel River Bridge.

The trail closed in early January due to flooding and ice buildup. There’s no estimated time of reopening.
