Volunteers help seniors prepare income tax returns.

PRINCE GEORGE Filing taxes can be confusing at the best of times. And as you get older, it can become an even greater frustration. However, The Prince George Council of Seniors has a solution to the problem.

Since the start of the month, seniors have been looking for assistance in preparing their income tax returns. Each year over two hundred seniors look to the council of senior volunteers for personal income tax return filing.

According to the Prince George Council of Seniors, there is a fear amongst some seniors of missing specific benefits, programs, and credits that may negatively impact their income. Computers filing has become another obstacle.
