Six more dead in today’s B.C. COVID update

VICTORIA – Six more covid deaths were reported across the province in the last 24 hours. None were from the Northern Health region.

The Ministry of Health is reporting 199 new COVID cases across the province, 14 of those are in northern B.C. There are 290 people in hospital with COVID, 47 are in intensive care.

The COVID outbreak at Sidney Care Home has been declared over.

As of Friday, March 18, 2022, 58.7 per cent of eligible adults have received their third dose of a vaccine.
