PRINCE GEORGE — Team Scotland has withdrawn from the 2022 World Women’s Curling Championships in Prince George.

This after two further members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 according to a statement from Team Scotland.

Scotland had been fielding a three-member team since the event started after skip Rebecca Morrison and alternate Fay Henderson had tested positive ahead of the event and further daily testing has now resulted in two more positive cases.

Team Scotland says it won’t take part in any further matches in order to protect the safety of its athletes, staff, and all other competitors at the event.
