PRINCE GEORGE– Now you may not have tickets to see the Woman’s World Curling Championship but that doesn’t mean you can’t take in the atmosphere. This weekend just beside all the curling action is the hangout place you’ll want to be. “The Patch” a tradition since 1982.

In 1982 when the Brier was held in Brandon Manitoba there wasn’t enough room in the rink to hold all the fans. To help make sure everyone got the curling action they needed “The Patch” was started beside the rink. An area/bar where people can socialize, meet old friends, new friends, and just take in the curling environment.

Curling Patches over the years have been large and small, but one thing is a constant: it’s always a fun place to be. And now it makes its return to Prince George and more specifically KIN 1 after the championships got canceled back in 2020.
