PRINCE GEORGE – It was a champion’s send-off.

The entire school body at DP Todd Secondary School in Prince George celebrated the career of Ken Hocker, a custodian at the school for over a decade.

With his retirement, the Prince George product is now able to shift his focus to coaching football with the Prince George Kodiaks, the Canadian Junior Football League’s newest team. The team will hit the field this summer.

Football has always been a passion of Hocker’s, building a lengthy resume within the game and even coaching a few future CFLers. He coached current Toronto Argonauts running back Andrew Harris when he played in the BC Football Conference as a member of the Vancouver Island Raiders.
