Critical Care Paramedic training program sets roots in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George has recently become a training centre for ambulance paramedics who want to step up their skill set to service the north with a higher level of care.
In BC, the British Columbia Emergency Service provides specialized emergency patient care and transport for critically ill or injured patients. Some of those paramedics have specialized training to help patients.
Historically BCHS offered the critical care paramedic training program almost exclusively in the lower mainland. A critical care paramedic training program started in Prince George in the past few months.
