April snowfall hits Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George residents woke up to snow this morning.

Environment Canada says we can expect as much as four centimetres of the white stuff today before showers likely arrive later today.

It’s chilly too, with the temperature dipping to minus 5 with the windchill. However by later today the temperature could rise to as high as six degrees.

Environment Canada says there’s a 60 per cent chance of flurries again tomorrow morning then a 60 per cent chance of showers tomorrow afternoon.
