Premier John Horgan tests positive for COVID-19

VICTORIA — The Premier has covid.

In an announcement made on Twitter this morning BC Premier John Horgan said that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The premier said that thanks to being fully vaccinated his symptoms are mild and he will work from home until his symptoms resolve.

Horgan recently went through treatment for throat cancer, which was found in November 2021. He completed treatment in January. According to the Canadian Cancer Society people with cancer are at a higher risk of developing more serious outcomes.
