Structure fire near Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE—Prince George fire rescue responded to a call this morning just after 9 a.m. to the 7100 block of the Hart Highway.
When crews arrived they discovered a manufactured home fully involved with both occupants outside. Crews were able to keep the fire contained to one unit. Both occupants from the structure were taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
The replacement value of the unit is estimated at $150,000. Damage to the unit is estimated to be $20,000. The fire was caused by a burning candle in the bedroom of the home.
