Local rescue needs volunteer help
PRINCE GEORGE – Luvs Northern Animal Rescue needs to cover 160 volunteer shifts for Jurassic Quest at the CN Centre this weekend. If Luvs is able to do this, the event will pay them for their efforts, help them raise money to clear off their vet debts, and continue helping lost, surrendered, injured, and disowned animals throughout northern BC.
Luvs Northern Animal Rescue is “rawrin’” to help animals throughout northern BC by providing volunteer support for Jurassic Quest, being held at the CN Centre in Prince George this weekend. Volunteers will be partnered with paid staff to help guests at this weekend’s event and make sure everyone has the best time. In exchange for your time, you will receive on-site training, a volunteer shirt, and the knowledge that you helped animals throughout northern BC.
Andrea Sowers, one of the people involved with Luvs Northern Animal Rescue, was thrilled when the company presenting Jurassic Quest reached out to the charity and offered them an opportunity to earn a donation. “This donation is life-changing,” Sowers states, “giving us the chance to actually plan ahead for some of the costs we know are coming our way”. All they need to do now is find the people to help them fill the shifts.
