PRINCE GEORGE– Every year in northern B.C., 320 people are injured or killed in crashes involving teen drivers.

That number is a big reason why Tiana Tozer is traveling across Northern B.C to tell her story about how her life changed when she was injured in a crash with an impaired driver when she was 20 years old.

Tozer was at College Heights Secondary School Monday morning telling her story. Close to a hundred students learned about her crash and the dangers of not only drunk driving but speeding and distracted driving as well.

The ICBC road safety speaker and two-time USA Paralympic medalist also spoke at CNC. Something Anne Harris thought was important with a new semester starting at the College.

Tozer is planning on also telling her story Tuesday at DP Todd Secondary and then on May 13th Paramedic, Ted Swan will be at Prince George Secondary drawing from his experience as a first responder at crash scenes.
