Woman facing multiple charges following police incident in College Heights

PRINCE GEORGE — A police incident in College Heights has led to charges against a local woman.

It happened last night (May 16) on the 6200 block of Lalonde Road. Prince George RCMP Cpl. Sonya Blom says police were notified of the incident at around 8:10 p.m. following a report of a woman with a firearm inside a home. Witnesses reported seeing over half a dozen RCMP vehicles on scene.

The suspect was arrested and is facing multiple charges including one count of careless use of a firearm, two counts of uttering threats, and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Her name has not been released. There were no reported injuries.
