Think twice before planting outside this long weekend

PRINCE GEORGE – For most of us who live in north-central B.C., the best time to start planting outside is typically done on or after the May long weekend.

However the forecast says different, as there is a chance the temperatures will hover around the freezing mark for the next few days.

Gardening expert Jos Van Hage recommends holding off until this cold system passes and the ground begins to dry as there is a risk of frost.
