PRINCE GEORGE—The city is looking for your feedback on a proposed mega park at the corner of Ospika and 22nd Avenue.

The city says they highly value the input of citizens and want to hear from the public before moving forward with a proposal for city council. Groups responsible for the cost, design and purchase of the playground would include the Prince George Community Foundation, Rotary Club of Prince George, and Colliers Project Leaders. The city would be responsible for the cost of land and services to the property such as water, sewer and power.

At present, the project scope for the park includes:

-A paved pump track capable of hosting competitions.

-A junior adventure park suitable for children 18 months to five years of age.

-A youth (five years +) adventure park.

-A seniors-friendly outdoor fitness station.

-An inclusive and accessible playground for all ages and mobility levels.

The City of Prince George needs feedback from residents on what they think of the mega park proposal, and which proposed features they wish to be included.
