Shakespeare City hits the stage this July

PRINCE GEORGE—The Method Dance Society announced today that it will be debuting a new show this July.

Shakespeare City will hit the stage at Theatre Northwest on July 15 and 16, 2022.

“We are so excited to have some amazing dancers and choreographers from the North featured in this show,” says Artistic Director and Choreographer Shelby Richardson. “It has been such a wonderful experience collaborating with these artists and we can’t wait to share it with our local community.”

Method Dance Society says that Shakespeare City will take the audience on a whimsical post-apocalyptic journey through the experience of some of Shakespeare’s most fascinating and mischievous characters.

The show will feature live dance, jazz, classical and avant-garde melodies. Choreographers include Shelby Richardson, Ashley Burmaster, Melissa McCracken, along with new emerging artists Shayla Dyble and Sara McGowan. The performance will also include live musical elements by Justin Gendreau and the always captivating audio/ visual effects of Jon Russell.
