Jun 20, 2022 | 11:42 AM

PRINCE GEORGE — Two Rivers Gallery has announced a family friendly event for July 8th and 9th at Canada Games Plaza.

BMO Community Art Days, formerly known as KidzArt Dayz, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days and offer art workshops and activities.

Each day will feature a diverse and exciting group of local entertainers, along with family friendly art stations with fun crafts for all ages.

The theme of this year’s event is Unity in Community.

“Art workshops and activities include artist Francisco-Fernando Granados’s project True Colours, inviting individuals to paint personal flags that represent Pride and LGBTQ2S+ identity, ultimately creating a collective flag of many colours representing the diversity of our community,” says a news release sent out by Two Rivers Gallery.

“Other activities include Citizen Pong, featuring ping pong tables designed by local artists, available for free play by participants as a means of making personal connections.”

“BMO is delighted to continue to support BMO Community Art Days at Two Rivers Gallery, an annual summer event that strives to bring people together and build community through art,” said Aaron Kueng, Regional Vice President. “We are excited to enjoy the many activities, performances and vendors that will help make this year’s event the best yet!”
