Public Library to host Bike Fest Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Public Library is hosing Bike Fest tomorrow (June 25), a chance to start a new hobby or learn about some new trails in and around Prince George.

It will take place in Canada Games Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there will be prize draws from Ruckus, Koops, and the Prince George Brain Injured Group Society, and food from vendors like Baller Foods, Kusina Tasty Foods, Open Door Cafe, and Veg Head Killer Foods.

“Bike Fest is meant for every person of every skills level, from the bike enthusiast to the foodie! Come down and talk to the experts about what you need to start biking or grab some local trail maps and find your next adventure! Prize draws and delicious food make this your perfect Saturday. With that much delicious food and being just down the road from the Farmer’s Market, this event is a great way to kick off summer and encourage people get outside!”, says Jen Rubadeau, the Prince George Public Library’s Manager of Communications and Engagement.

There will also be booths and demos from Caledonia Nordic, Cycle Logic, Gals n’ Gears Bike Club, Cops for Cancer, the Prince George Brain Injured Group, the BC Summer Games, and the Prince George Public Library.
