Kodiaks football engaging community of PG
PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Kodiaks have been making a name for themselves within the city in a short amount of time. Although their season hasn’t started with the winning streak that they had hoped for, the engagement that they’ve created within the community has been impactful.
After Saturday night’s inaugural home game, it was easy to see how excited people are for football to be played in Northern BC. Whether the fans knew someone on the team, came for the atmosphere or just wanted to watch some football, Masich Place Stadium was electric.
“I got goosebumps just thinking about that home opener, you know. The roar of the crowd, seeing our boys out there are our very first B.C. Canadian Junior football game being hosted here in Prince George,” said Todd Doherty, MP Cariboo-Prince George.
