Hit to Pass thunderous on rainy day two

“It’s awesome. It’s a lot less scary than I thought it would be,” said Chad Abrahamson. “. In my first real race out here, I had a great opportunity to spin a guy out in front of me, and I loved it. From then on, I’m just hungry for more hits.”

It is not just the drivers having all the fun. The pit crews love the event as well.

“It’s been a blast,” said Steve Williams. “We’ve had so many people involved, a lot of support, and it’s been great.”

Thousands were on hand over the weekend to watch the races. Support both the track and drivers appreciate.

“It’s just a tradition in town, and it helps the racetrack. This weekend more or less helps us with our funding for next season,” said Conn.

Despite the rain Sunday, fans still packed the grandstands cheering on the destruction.
