Trustee candidate would advocate for more education funding

PRINCE GEORGE — A candidate for school trustee says his goals if elected include “giving the students perspective” and “building confident leaders.”

Damon Robinson is a self described young candidate who works for CNC’s Student Union and is also a current member of StrongerBC Young Leaders Council, a government initiative taking youth leaders from across BC to represent the voice of the youth.

He also says the school board should not “be afraid to look at new ideas and ways of doing things.”

“We should be pushing our government to give us the ability to build a strong education system in School District 57 by advocating for more funding.”
