Long-time principal advocates for SD-57 Audit

ckpgPrince George – Craig Brennan, a veteran school teacher and retired principal with 40 years experience as an educator, says the starting point for the new School District 57 Board, should be a district wide organizational audit.

” I believe School District #57 needs real change, and these changes were identified not only in the Special Advisors Report of 2021, but also based on my own personal and professional observations over the last number of years ” – Craig Brennan

Mr. Brennan says in the aftermath of 2021’s Special Advisor’s Report, and the disruptive COVID-19 pandemic, the timing is right to get a handle on the costs and expenditures of the 175-Million dollar School District.

” We are a 175 Million dollar organization, we have a lot of employees… how are they doing? we’re coming out of a pandemic, and we’re coming out of some very stressful times…. how is everyone doing, and what are we doing to support their wellness? ” – Craig Brennan

Ultimately, Mr Brennan’s hope is for the organizational audit to act as a sort of wellness check for the students and staff of SD-57, ensuring that the right resources for the job, and the right amount of those resources, make it into the hands of the teachers tasked with educating our children.
