27th annual Civic Light Up invites public for celebration Sunday

PRINCE GEORGE — Community members are encouraged to join in on the fun of the annual Civic Light Up in Prince George.

On Sunday (December 4), the 27 annual celebration takes place in the city starting at 5 p.m. at the Canada Games Plaza.

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, locals can head down to the plaza to enjoy a variety of fun activities including live entertainment, street hockey with the Spruce Kings, holiday treats and food trucks.

Members of the public are reminded to bring their own hockey sticks for street hockey with the Spruce Kings.

The popular Tree of Lights display is back and will be lit up at 5:55 p.m.
