PRINCE GEORGE– Elementary Schools and Hockey Fans from all over the community of Prince George were packed in the CN Centre Friday afternoon to watch the 18th annual spirit game between the PGSS Polars and the College Heights Cougars.

For players, it’s an electric atmosphere to play in. It’s by far their favorite part of the annual game and is possibly the biggest crowd they’ll ever play in front of in their lifetime.

The game was all for a great cause as during the 2nd intermission donations of Touques and Scarfs were presented to St. Vincent DePaul as well as a special shootout where some of the elementary kids in attendance took part. It’s one of the most special times of year for the hockey community.

In the past the series between the 2 schools was 10-7 for PGSS however College Heights has had more recent success. But this time it was the Polars winning the 18th annual game.
