Prince George Cougars fail to capitalize on quick start against Prince Albert

PRINCE GEORGE — Evan Herman scored twice to leave the Prince Albert Raiders past the Prince George Cougars 4 – 1 Saturday night at CN Centre.

Ondrej Becher had the Cougars lone goal, just 61 seconds into the game.

But Raiders netminder Max Hildebrand slammed the door shut after that. He made 28 saves in the game while Ty Young stopped 26 of 30 shots for the Cougars.

5101 fans turned out for the game, the second largest crowd of the season.

The Cougars will host Victoria for two games next weekend.
