RCMP investigating Quesnel bank robbery

QUESNEL — Quesnel Mounties are investigating a bank robbery.

RCMP say it happened just before 5 p.m. on February 1 at CIBC.

:A lone man entered the bank and produced a note demanding money and threatening staff. The suspect made motions indicating he had a weapon. The suspect had his face covered with a blue surgical mask,” says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.

The suspect is described as:

• Approximately 6’3 tall
• Slim build
• Wearing a light-coloured toque
• Blue coveralls
• A hi vis vest
• Black gloves
• Carrying a black satchel over his shoulder.
